San Diego, CA
We arrived in beautiful San Diego, CA! I've loved this city ever since B was stationed out there in '02. If it weren't so daggum expensive, I'd love to live there!
We opted to ride the trolley and go to
Old Town. We've been before, but it was nice to go back.

We decided to take the free tour of the
Cosmopolitan Hotel. It was interesting learning all the history. Apparently, one of the rooms is haunted! There was a "ghost hunters" type show that filmed here right before we arrived. I don't believe in ghosts per say, but the haunted room did have a creepy vibe! Yikes.

After we toured the hotel, we decided to eat some authentic Mexican food in Old town. There was a lady making fresh, from scratch tortillas right by our table. The food was delicious!!

| fresh tortillas...yes please! |
After lunch, we headed to the
Gaslamp distric.

We walked around, browsed the stores and then decided to wet B's wistle at a local (not offered here at least) brewery/restaurant. After all, we had to complete B's mission of drinking local beers!
After our pit stop, we headed back to the ship!

Of course it was soon time for the evening. We had several things planned after dinner, but apparently our bodies had different plans. Right after B received his appetizer, he got sick (a bit of motion sickness, which he never gets). He excused himself from the table and went back to the cabin. Our great waiter, go our cabin # and sent his food up for him.
Ryan (our waiter) teased and said "is he sick in the morning too....you know morning sickness?" I told B and he chuckled. (Ryan knew I was pregnant and joked that B was having sympathy symptoms!)

After I finished, I headed up to check on B. I had plans to go to the talent type show, but instead fell asleep! Oops. We were both asleep by 10....yep, we're old fuddy duds!
