Christmas confessions

One of my favorite blogs I read, E Myself and I, is hosting a "mid week confessions" post. I thought I'd play along!

1. I have never seen A Christmas Story movie in its entirety. Every year I promise myself that I'm going to watch it when it comes on TBS, but every year I get too busy and uninterested. Maybe 2011 will be the year. Maybe.

2. I just had to double check the spelling of the word entirety. I hate when I type/write a word and it looks wrong. It's usually the simplist of words too. Hopefully I'm not the only one who does this.

3.  I'm not a fan of  multi-colored and white Christmas lights mixed together. I'm strange, but I like it either all white or all multi-colored.

4. I'm overly critical of complete stranger's decorations. My mom and I jokingly refer to ourselves as the decoration police. I don't actually tell anyone that I think their decor is tacky, so I'm not completely awful!!

5. I love receiving Christmas cards! I'm like a kid in the candy store when I see 'em in the mailbox.

  1. I love a Christmas Story!! Next to Christmas Vacation, it's one of my favorite Christmas comedies. I will confess I've never watched "It's a Wonderful Life". Maybe I'll try to do that this 2011.

  2. I LOVE getting Christmas cards in the mail, too! We have only gotten one so far this year:( I don't think people send them out like they used to. Even at .45 a stamp, I will always send out cards!!

  3. Linked here from E, Myself and I and I have to say I COMPLETELY understand about the Christmas lights. I CANNOT stand it when people mix colored and white lights. Or big bulbs and little bulbs. SO TACKY.

  5. I cannot believe you've never seen the movie all the way through! My hubs & I actually bought a copy of it the other night when we were out Christmas shopping because we cancelled cable this past year & realized it meant we wouldn't get the 24 hours of A Christmas Story on TBS! Love that movie! & I do the same thing with spelling, must be the teacher in me that always needs to make sure I don't spell something wrong!

  6. I too double check my spelling more than I care to admit - I use google.com as my dictionary.
